Vijayashri Sripati, "UN Constitutional Assistance [UNCA]: New Additions to the “Standard of Civilization”?", TUBMAN SEMINAR SERIES

Dr. Vijayashri Sripati

The Tubman Weekly Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a seminar by Dr. Vijayashri Sripati, a fellow of the University of Toronto, on the subject of how the United Nations approaches International Law in third world countries.

Dr. Sripati will be speaking on Tuesday October 4th from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at 314 York Lanes – the Harriet Tubman Institute Resource Centre. We welcome participants to come and learn more about this critical and changing issue which faces not only the developing world but all nations globally. The actions of an external agency such as the UN in offering assistance in constitutional reform must be questioned within the framework of a theoretically post-colonial world. Come out and join the discussion!
