Fifty Years of Caribbean Independence: the Future of Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago

 To mark Jamaica’s and Trinidad and Tobago’s fifty years of Independence from Britain, and launch of the book: "Jamaica in the Canadian Experience: A Multiculturalizing Presence," Professor Knight will examine fifty years of accomplishments and failures of the first two states to gain political independence in the English-Speaking Caribbean and will suggest the main challenges for the next fifty years and more.
