The Tubman Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a seminar by Dr. Behnaz Mirzai of Brock University which examines the history of Afro-Iranian communities within Iran’s policies and history, and is entitled the "Re-creation of the cultural Identities of Afro-Iranian Communities in Multicultural Iran".

Dr. Mirzai spoke at 280N York Lanes on Tuesday, February 15th, between 12:00 noon and 1:30. We welcome participants to come and learn more about how the community of Iranians of African descent has presented itself within Iran. Everyone is encouraged to come and learn more!
