The Tubman Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a
seminar by representatives of the Charles H. Wright Museum speaking on their
underground railroad projects. The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (Detroit) is the world’s largest institution dedicated to the African American experience. The
museum provides learning opportunities, exhibitions, programs and events based on collections and research that explore the diverse history and culture of African Americans and their African origins.

Robert L. Smith (Director of Collections and Exhibitions) and Jennifer Duckworth (Underground Railroad Coordinator) spoke on Tuesday December 7th from 12:00 noon
to 1:30pm at 305 York Lanes. We welcome participants to come and learn more about the underground railroad and this fascinating institution.
