Nadine Hunt, "Commercial and Enslaved Diasporas at Work in Eighteenth Century Jamaica," TUBMAN SEMINAR SERIES

The Tubman Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a

seminar by Nadine Hunt of York University on the subject of the struggles and

interactions in eighteenth century Jamaica between the enslaved and free

populace, and the conclusions one may make from their records.

Hunt spoke on Tuesday November 23rd from 12:00 noon to

1:30pm at 280N York Lanes. We welcome participants to come and learn more. Hunt

is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History at York University. Hunt’s

current research examines the organization of trade within the Caribbean world

in the eighteenth century.  Everyone is encouraged to come.
