Annie Bunting, "Forced marriage/ sexual slavery in conflict situations -Insights from Sierra Leone and Uganda" TUBMAN SEMINAR SERIES

The Tubman Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a
seminar by Dr. Annie Bunting of York University on the subject of the struggles
within West Africa concerning women in conflict situations.

Dr. Bunting spoke on Tuesday November 16th from 12:00 noon to
1:30pm at 305 York Lanes. We welcome participants to come and learn more about
the shifting role of marriage within this region amid the context of recent
wars. Everyone is encouraged to come. Copies of Dr. Bunting’s paper are
available upon request.
