Terisa Turner, "Freeing the Energy Slaves: Commoners Against Climate Change and the Struggle to Keep Fossil Fuels Underground", TUBMAN SEMINAR SERIES

The Tubman Seminar Series invites interested students and scholars to attend a seminar by Dr. Terisa Turner of the University of Guelph concerning the ramifications of modern patterns of enslavement and disenfranchisement in a world of changing climate and environmental concerns, entitled "Freeing the Energy Slaves: Commoners Against Climate Change and the Struggle to Keep Fossil Fuels Underground".

Dr. Turner spoke at 305 York Lanes on Tuesday, February 1st, between 12:00 noon and 1:30. We welcome participants to come and learn more about the ways in which the environment and modern slavery interact in all too chilling ways. Everyone is encouraged to come and learn more!
