Dr. Claudette May Williams is a professor in Modern Languages & Literatures in the Faculty of Humanities & Education of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She holds a PhD from Stanford University as well as a Bachelors and a Masters degree of Arts from UWI Mona. She is the author of various titles, including Charcoal and Cinnamon: The Politics of Color in Spanish Caribbean Literature.
